Today should have been the BBHR2020.

Today we should have been hosting the BARNSLEY BOUNDARY HEROES RIDE 2020 But due to the present COVID-19 we had to cancel, therefore we gave willing cyclist an alternative the #BBHR2020 who donated there entry fee to Matthews h4h fundraising page for which i am extremely grateful. from what i can see today another 3 riders took up the challenge. chapeau. And richard johnson rode the segment the quickest.

6 Exiles plus a invite, James. Cycled the #BBHR2020. 32 miles 3689ft of climbing, set off wind on our backs for the first mile, then the rest of the way climbing and wind in our face literally all the to the highest point then the heavens opened, we were wet through but our spirits weren't dampened, honest, all for the memory of Matthew and for a great cause. 2020 event postponed until 2021

After careful consideration of the UK COVID19 position; and in the interest of organisers/ participants, and their families safety; we have decided to postpone the 2020 running of the Barnsley Boundary Heroes Ride. We mulled this over for a good while, and concluded bringing 150+ people together would not be appropriate this year. Keep safe everyone, and we'll run another brilliant event in 2021. - The Thornton Family and organisers. You can still give your support! We woul
